Patrick is the world’s leading author of books on snow travel, having written more than a dozen titles since his first, The Essential Ski Holiday Guide, published by HarperCollins in 1985.
His latest title, The Skiing Bucket List, is published in 2026.
Patrick’s books include two editions of the World Ski & Snowboarding Guide published in the mid-1990s, the first to feature more than 1,000 ski areas worldwide. Snow In Space is the first to track snow on other moons and planets.
His 2014 title Powder has been the bestselling ski guide on Amazon ever since, with a new edition published in 2025.
