InTheSnow

Patrick first started working on ski magazines in 1986, as a staff writer on The Skier magazine during a year out from university.

His main magazine work over the past two decades however has been as editor of the UK’s largest ski magazine, InTheSnow.

Over the years Patrick has freelanced for dozens of ski magazines including virtually all British and North American titles, including many that are no longer published or have moved online.

Besides The Skier, he has contributed to the ski Club of great Britain’s magazine since the 1980s and Fall Line since its firstr editions in the 1990s. He has also been the Europe correspondents for Ski Area Management (SAM) and Ski Press magazines in North America and contributed to Snow, Ski and Skiing magazines there. He has also worked for ski magazines in countries including Australia, Czechia, France, Italy, The Netherlands, Slovakia and Sweden.

Patrick has also had his work published in many non-ski-specific publications including The Independent, The I, The Guardian, The Observer and The Times newspapers in the UK.

Journalists from Newspapers, TV, Radio and podcasts also approach Patrick for expert comment with Bloomberg, The New York Times, The Robb Report and others amongst those having done so.
